SURAH (19) MARYAM AYA 61 to 98

جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا {19:61}
[Q19:61] Jannaati 'adninil latee wa'adar Rahmaanu ibaadahoo bilghaib; innahoo kaana wa'duhoo maatiyyaa.
[Q19:61] The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT) has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass.

The word ‘unseenindicates that the description of the pleasure OR pain, i.e., Paradise and Hell given in Qur’an is not something familiar to be identified with the sensual pleasure and pain of the world. So whatever is said, is a figurative presentation, the means of pleasures and pains of the Next World for the perception of which all senses have not yet develop--- or otherwise there is no morning or evening in Paradise mention in verse 62 (see verse 56:56)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:61) They will have those everlasting Gardens, which the Merciful has promised to His servants, while yet they have not seen them, *37 and most surely that promise shall be fulfilled.
*37 That is, the promised Gardens which are yet unseen by His servants.

لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَامًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا {19:62}
[Q19:62] Laa yasma'oona feehaa laghwan illaa salaamaa; wa lahum rizquhum feehaa bukratanw wa 'ashiyyaa.
[Q19:62] They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening.
(see commentary for verse 58)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:62) There they will not hear any idle talk but only what shall be good and sensible, *38 and they will get their provisions regularly in the morning and evening.
*38 The word used is salam, which means ' free from defect and fault'. It implies to mean that the greatest blessing that man will enjoy in Paradise will be that there he will hear no idle, vile or indecent talk; all the dwellers of Paradise will be neat and clean and pure people and every individual will be gentle and right-minded by nature; everybody will be secure against backbiting, slander and indecent songs and other ugly sounds. Whatever men will hear will be good, sensible and right.
This is indeed a great blessing which only that person can fully appreciate, who possesses a neat and fine taste, because only such a one can feel the misery of living among a dirty society, where his ears are never immune against lies, backbiting, slander, and mischievous and sensual talk.

تِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَنْ كَانَ تَقِيًّا {19:63}
[Q19:63] Tilkal jannatul latee oorisu min 'ibaadinaa man kaana taqiyyaa.
[Q19:63] This is the garden which We cause those of Our servants to inherit who guard (against evil).
(see commentary for verse 58)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:63) That is the Garden which We will give as an inheritance to that one of Our servants, who leads a pious life.

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا {19:64}
[Q19:64] Wa maa natanazzalu illaa bi amri Rabbika lahoo maa baina aideenaa wa maa khalfanaa wa maa baina zaalik; wa maa kaana Rabbuka nasiyyaa,
[Q19:64] And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful.
[Q19:64] Dan (berkatalah malaikat): Kami tidak turun dari semasa ke semasa melainkan dengan perintah Tuhanmu (wahai Muhammad); Dialah jua yang menguasai serta mentadbirkan apa yang di hadapan kita dan apa yang di belakang kita serta apa yang di antara itu dan tiadalah Tuhanmu itu lupa;
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:64) (O Muhammad), *39 we do not come down save at the bidding of your Lord; to Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that lies between, and your Lord is never forgetful.
*39 This paragraph is a parenthesis, which has been inserted at the end of one theme and before the commencement of the other. It is obvious from this that this Surah was sent down after a long delay. At that time the Holy Prophet and his Companions were passing through very hard times and were always expecting a Revelation to guide and comfort them. When Gabriel (peace be upon him) came with the angels with this Revelation, he at first delivered that part of the Message which was immediately needed. Then before proceeding further, he said these words by the leave of Allah as an explanation for the delay and to give them comfort from Allah and counsel of fortitude. This interpretation is not only borne out by the wording of the passage but also by some Traditions of the Holy Prophet, which have been cited by Ibn Jarir, Ibn Kathir, and the author of Ruh ulMa `ani in their commentary on this passage.

رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَاعْبُدْهُ وَاصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَادَتِهِ ۚ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا {19:65}
[Q19:65] Rabbus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa fa'bud hu wastabir li'ibaadatih; hal ta'lamu lahoo samiyyaa
[Q19:65] The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, so serve Him and be patient in His service. Do you know any one equal to Him?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:65) He is the Lord, of the Heavens and the Lord of the Earth, and of all that is between them; so serve Him and be steadfast in His service. *40 Do you know of any other being equal in rank to Him? *41
*40 That is, "You should not only follow strictly the Way of service and face all the obstacles and afflictions with patience, but also should not get uneasy, if there is a delay in Revelation and help. You should rest content with His service as an obedient servant and perform persistently the duties and responsibilities entrusted to you as a Servant and Messenger."
*41 The word Sami literally means `a name sake'. Here it implies: "Allah is the only Deity: do you know of any other deity besides Him? If there is none, and you know that there is none, then you do not have any alternative but to serve Him and obey His Commands."

SECTION 5
The Ressurection Certain
Everyone will be resurrected for the Day of Judgment – To raise the dead again to life, not difficult for God who created everything from nothing – The reward for the Faithful.

وَيَقُولُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَإِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيًّا {19:66}
[Q19:66] Wa yaqoolul insaanu 'aizaa maa mittu lasawfa ukhraju haiyaa.
[Q19:66] And says man: What! When I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive?
[Q19:66] Dan manusia (yang kafir) berkata: Apa! Apabila aku mati, adakah aku akan dibangkitkan hidup semula?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:66) Man says, "What! After I am once dead, shall I again be brought to life"?

أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْئًا {19:67}
[Q19:67] awalaa yazkurul insaanu annaa khalaqnaahu min qablu wa lam yaku shai'aa.
[Q19:67] Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:67) Does not the man remember that We made him at first when he was nothing?

 فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا {19:68}
[Q19:68] Fawa Rabbika lanahshu rannahum wash shayaateena summa lanuhdirannahum hawla jahannama jisiyyaa;
[Q19:68] So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees.

There are many ways leading to hell (evil), AND people following these ways of Shaytan will get to it from all sides seized with terror.
v  Refer to Hijr 15:44 for the seven gates of the hell.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:68) By your Lord! We will muster them and the Satans along with them; *42 then We will gather them round Hell and throw them down on their knees:
*42 The "Satans" are the leaders who persuade the wicked people to enjoy themselves in this worldly life, for there is no life in the Hereafter, where they shall have to present themselves before Allah and give an account of their deeds.

ثُمَّ لَنَنْزِعَنَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحْمَٰنِ عِتِيًّا {19:69}
[Q19:69] Summa lananzi 'anna min kulli shee'atin aiyuhum ashaddu 'alar Rahmaani 'itiyyaa.
[Q19:69] Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT).

The ring leaders of the rebels (deviators, hypocrites and disbelievers), whom ALLAH (SWT) knows best, will be thrown into the lowest depth of hell to suffer the greatest degree of torment.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:69) then We will pick out from every band, each one of those who had been most rebellious against the Merciful; *43
*43 The leader of every rebel band.

ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِالَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيًّا {19:70}
[Q19:70]  Summa lanahnu a'lamu billazeena hum awlaa bihaa siliyyaa.
[Q
19:70] Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein.
(see commentary for verse 69)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:70) then We know very well which of them deserves most to be thrown into Hell?

وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَقْضِيًّا {19:71}
[Q19:71] Wa im minkum illaa waa riduhaa; kaana 'alaa Rabbika hatmam maqdiyyaa.
[Q19:71] And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord.

EVERY SOUL MUST PASS THROUGH OR BY OR OVER THE FIRE, but verses 21:101 to 107 of Anbiya EXCLUDE THOSE who are the first and foremost in receiving the blessings and grace of ALLAH (SWT), a group clearly mentioned in Waqi-ah 56:10 and 11. Also refer to the commentary of verses 58 to 63 of this surah.
The two other groups, people of the right hand and the people of the left hand (Waqi-ah 56:8 and 9) SHALL be gathered round the hell AND THEY will pass through or by or over the hell, BUT the people of the right hand will come out of it to go into paradise, AND the people of the left hand, the unjust, will abide in hell for ever.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:71) And there is none of you who will not be presented before the confines of Hell *44, for this is a settled ,decree, which your Lord will bring in force;
*44 According to some traditions, "to be presented before the confines of Hell" means `to enter Hell', but none of these traditions is authentic. Then this interpretation goes against the Qur'an and a great many authentic Traditions, which clearly state that the true Believers will never be cast into Hell. Lexically also, vurud (being presented unto) is not synonymous with dukhul (causing to enter). Therefore, the correct meaning would be that every human being will be presented before Hell, but then, as the next verse clarifies, the pious people will be rescued and the transgressors left therein on their knees.

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا وَنَذَرُ الظَّالِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّا {19:72}
[Q19:72] Summa nunajjil lazeenat taqaw wa nazaruz zaalimeena feehaa jisiyyaa.
[Q19:72] And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees.
(see commentary for verse 71)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:72) then We will deliver those who were pious (in the world), and will leave the transgressors there on their knees.

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌ مَقَامًا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّا {19:73}
[Q19:73] Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim Aayaatunaa baiyinaatin qaalal lazeena kafaroo lillazeena aamanooo aiyul fareeqaini khairum maqaamanw wa ahsanu nadiyyaa.
[Q19:73] And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly?

WHOSOEVER IS IN ERROR, ALLAH (SWT) prolongs his span of life as much as He likes BECAUSE the respite does not give him any advantage UNTIL he sees that which has been promised, EITHER the chastisement in this world OR the hour of doom (resurrection). Then he will know who is worst in position and weakest in forces.
£  The phrase fal yamdud (shall prolong) appears to be imperative. The real sense is "let him do", a challenge, BUT actually it is a conditional clause meaning "even if ALLAH (SWT) prolongs".
There is no promise of prolonging the life span of those who are in error. Verse 2:96 of al Baqarah throws light on the actual meaning of this verse which is "whosoever is in error ALLAH (SWT) shall allow him sufficient respite."
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:73) When Our plain Revelations are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Believers, "Tell us, which of the two of our parties is in a better condition and has grander meetings" *45
*45 In response to the recital of clear Revelations, instead of accepting their Message, the unbelievers put such questions as these to the Believers to show that they were in the right: Who has grander houses to live in? Who has a higher standard of life? Who enjoys splendid meetings? If we are enjoying all these things while you are deprived of them, you may decide for yourselves whether we, who are enjoying happy worldly lives, are in the wrong, or you who are living miserable lives of indigence are in the right? (Also see Surah AI-Kahf (XVIII): E.N.'s 37-38).

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَاثًا وَرِئْيًا {19:74}
[Q19:74] Wa kam ‘ahlaknaa qablahum-min-qarnin hum ‘ahsanu ‘athathsan-wa ri’-yaa.
[Q19:74] And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance!
(see commentary for verse 73)
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:74) And how many a generation have We destroyed before them, who had more abundant riches than they and were grander in splendour!

قُلْ مَنْ كَانَ فِي الضَّلَالَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مَدًّا ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا الْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا السَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُنْدًا {7519:}
[Q19:75] Qul man kaana fidda laalati falyamdud lahur Rahmaanu maddaa; hattaaa izaa ra aw maa yoo'adoona immal 'azaaba wa immas Saa'ata fasa ya'lamoona man huwa sharrum makaananw wa ad'afu jundaa.
[Q19:75] Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT) will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces.
(see commentary for verse 73)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:75) Say to them, "The Merciful gives respite to the one who falls into deviation up to the time when such people see that thing with which they had been threatened-the scourge of God or the Hour of Resurrection. Then they realize who was in worse plight and whose party was weaker.

وَيَزِيدُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا هُدًى ۗ وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ مَرَدًّا {19:76}
[Q19:76] Wa yazeedul laahul lazeenah tadaw hudaa; wal baaqiyaatus saalihaatu khairun 'inda Rabbika sawaabanw wa khairum maraddaa.
[Q19:76] And ALLAH (SWT) increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:76) In contrast to them, Allah increases in guidance those who adopt the righteous way; *46 and the abiding deeds of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord in regard to their reward and their end.
*46 That is, "On every critical occasion, Allah guides them to make right decisions and helps them to adopt the right way, and protects them from evil and wrong things; thus they go on making more and more progress on the right way."

أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا {19:77}
[Q19:77] Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:77) Then, have you seen the person who denies Our Revelations, and boasts, "I shall continue to be blessed with riches and children"? *47
*47 The boastful person was not a particular man but a typical chief of the disbelievers of Makkah. Every one of them claimed, "Howsoever you may call the erroneous and un-righteous person and threaten me with the Divine scourge, the tact is that I am more prosperous than you today and shall continue being blessed with favours in future as well. Just have a look at my riches, at my grandeur and at my estate, and at my well-known sons, and then say where you see any signs of the wrath of God.

أَطَّلَعَ الْغَيْبَ أَمِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا {19:78}
[Q19:78] Attala'al ghaiba amitta khaza'indar Rahmaani 'ahdaa.
[Q19:78] Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT)?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:78) What! Has the unseen been revealed to him? Or has he taken a pledge from the Merciful?

كَلَّا ۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ مَدًّا {19:79}
[Q19:79] Kallaa; sanaktubu maa yaqoolu wa namuddu lahoo minal 'azaabi maddaa.
[Q19:79] By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:79) By no means ! We will take down whatever he boasts of, *48 and will increase his chastisement all the more
*48 That is, the boastful words of his shall also be included in the record of his crimes and he shall have to bear the consequences of his arrogant claim.

وَنَرِثُهُ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًا {19:80}
[Q19:80] Wa narisuhoo maa yaqoolu wa yaateenaa fardaa.
[Q19:80] And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:80) and We will inherit the riches and the helpers of which he boasts of, he shall appear before Us all alone.

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لِيَكُونُوا لَهُمْ عِزًّا {19:81}
[Q19:81] Wattakhazoo min doonil laahi aalihatal liyakoonoo lahum 'izzaa.
[Q19:81] And they have taken gods besides ALLAH (SWT), that they should be to them a source of strength;
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:81) These people have set up other gods than Allah so that they may become their supporters. *49
*49 The Arabic word 'Izzan (from 'Izat) implies a powerful and strong person whom nobody may dare do any harm; here it means a person's having such a strong supporter that no enemy or opponent of his may even cherish an evil intention against him.

كَلَّا ۚ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا {19:82}
[Q19:82] By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:82) But they will have no supporter; all of them will not only disown their worship *50 but also become their opponents.
*50 That is, they will say, "We never asked them to worship us nor were we aware that these foolish people were worshipping us."

SECTION 6
Intercession
None shall intercede save those who have taken the Promise from God – Gravity of the abhorrence of the sin of assigning any issue to God.

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّا {19:83}
[Q19:83] Alam tara annaaa arsalnash Shayaateena 'alal kaafireena ta'uzzuhum azzaa.
[Q19:83] Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement?

This verse indicates that the Holy Prophet (ALLAHuma sali ala Muhammad wa ala ali Muhammad) was fully aware of the satanic forces which were misleading the disbelievers.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:83) Do you not see that over those disbelievers We have appointed the Satans, who incite them urgently to oppose the Truth?

فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّا {19:84}
[Q19:84] Falaa ta'jal alaihim innamaa na'uddu lahum 'addaa.
[Q19:84] Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days).

(19:84) Well, you need not become impatient for the coming of the scourge on them, for We are numbering their days. *51
*51 That is: "Endure their persecutions patiently a little more, for the time of their punishment is coming near, for We have given them respite for a fixed term, and let that term expire."

يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًا {19:85}
[Q19:85] Yawma nahshurul muttaqeena ilar Rahmaani wafdaa,
[Q19:85] The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT) to receive honors.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:85) The day is coming near, when We will present the righteous people like honoured guests before the Merciful,

وَنَسُوقُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًا {19:86}
[Q19:86] Wa nasooqul mujrimeena ilaa Jahannama wirdaa.
[Q19:86] And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty.

IT IS MADE CLEAR HERE THAT REDEMPTION OR INTERCESSION IS A FACT **BUT reserved to only those who have earned the covenant from the Lord to do it. **AND WHO ELSE could deserve OR to be entitled to the covenant, than those who have surrendered their selves (the martyrs) in the Way of the Lord;
ä  AND THE ISLAMIC WORLD as a whole unanimously acknowledges that the world never witnessed a greater martyrdom than that which was enacted at Karbala and the greatest martyr in the Cause of ALLAH (SWT) was Husain, whose martyrdom ALLAH (SWT) Himself has termed as ‘Azeem’- Great. (See verses 37:105-108)
It is an historical fact that the
§  Holy Prophet (ALLAHuma sali ala Muhammad wa ala ali Muhammad) was poisoned by the Jewess of Khaibar, the slow but steady action of which ultimately caused the departure of the Holy Prophet (ALLAHuma sali ala Muhammad wa ala ali Muhammad) from this world AND
§  Lady Fatema was martyred by injury caused by the fall of the door on her side AND
§  All the Eleven Imams in her issues, were also martyred. See verses 2:55, 4:85, 10:3, 20:109, 21:28, 29:44 and 64:48.
The Christian belief about the redemption of the sinners which is vested in their belief in the son-ship of Jesus is self-contradictory, as even after the belief one has to ask the pardon of ALLAH (SWT) (Math. 6:12)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:86) and drive the criminals to Hell like thirsty flocks.

لَا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا {19:87}
[Q19:87] Laa yamlikoonash shafaa'ta illaa manittakhaza 'indar Rahmaani 'ahdaa.
[Q19:87] They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT).

THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN A COVENANT FROM ALLAH (SWT) SHALL HAVE THE POWER OF INTERCESSION. Please refer to the commentary of al Baqarah 2:48.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:87) At that time no one shall have the ability to intercede except the one who may have received permission from the Merciful. *52
*52 This implies two things: (1) Intercession will be allowed only for the one who might have received permission for it from the Merciful, that is, the one who believed in Allah in the world and made himself deserving of His pardon. (2) Only that one will be able to plead intercession who might have got permission for this from the Merciful, and not those ones whom people themselves had made their intercessors without any reason.

وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا {19:88}
[Q19:88] Wa qaalut takhazar Rahmaanu waladaa.
[Q19:88] And they say: The Beneficent ALLAH (SWT) has taken (to Himself) a son.

THE CHRISTIAN BELIEF THAT ISA WAS THE SON OF ALLAH (SWT) has been refuted in several verses of Qur’an. Please refer to the commentary of al Baqarah 2:255 and Ali Imran 3:2 and 3.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:88) They say that the Merciful has adopted a son.

لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا {19:89}
[Q19:89] Laqad ji'tum shai'an iddaa.
[Q19:89] Certainly you have made an abominable assertion.
(see commentary for verse 88)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:89) What an absurd thing that you have invented!

تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنْشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا {19:90}
[Q19:90] Takaadus samaawaatu yatafattarna minhu wa tanshaq qul ardu wa takhirrul jibaalu haddaa.
[Q19:90] The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces,
(see commentary for verse 88)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:90) It is well nigh that the heavens might crack and the earth split asunder and the mountains crumble down at this hideous thing.

أَنْ دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًا {19:91}
[Q19:91] An da'aw lir Rahmaani waladaa.
[Q19:91] That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT).
[Q19:91] Kerana mereka mendakwa mengatakan: (ALLAH (SwT)) Ar-Rahman mempunyai anak.
(see commentary for verse 88)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:91) that they should ascribe a son to the Merciful!

وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا {19:92}
[Q19:92] Wa maa yambaghee lir Rahmaani ai yattakhiza waladaa
[Q19:92] And it is not worthy of the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT) that He should take (to Himself) a son.
[Q19:92] Padahal tiadalah layak bagi (ALLAH (SwT)) Ar-Rahman, bahawa Dia mempunyai anak.
(see commentary for verse 88)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:92) It does not behove the Merciful to adopt a son.

إِنْ كُلُّ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا آتِي الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًا {19:93}
[Q19:93] In kullu man fis samaawaati wal ardi illaaa aatir Rahmaani 'abdaa.
[Q19:93] There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent ALLAH (SWT) as a servant.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:93) All those who are in the heavens and the earth, are going to be presented before Him as servants,

لَقَدْ أَحْصَاهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا {19:94}
[Q19:94] Laqad ahsaahum wa addahum 'addaa.
[Q19:94] Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering.
[Q19:94] Demi sesungguhnya!
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:94) for He has encircled them and kept a strict account of them;

وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا {19:95}
[Q19:95] Wa kulluhum aateehi Yawmal Qiyaamati fardaa.
[Q19:95] And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:95) everyone shall be presented before Him individually on the Day of Resurrection.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّا {19:96}
[Q19:96] Innal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati sa yaj'alu lahumur Rahmaanu wuddaa.
[Q19:96] Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will ALLAH (SWT) bring about love.

THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN ALLAH (SWT) AND DO GOOD DEEDS LOVE ALLAH (SWT), THE HOLY PROPHET (ALLAHUMA SALI ALA MUHAMMAD WA ALA ALI MUHAMMAD) AND HIS AHLUL BAYT WHOSE LOVE HAS BEEN MADE OBLIGATORY in verse 42:23 of ash Shura; AND it is said in it that whoso earns good by loving them ALLAH (SWT) multiplies for him more and more good.
The love of ALLAH (SWT) and the godly ones is an automatic result of one’s belief in ALLAH (SWT) and leading a righteous life of goodness on earth. LOVE BEGETS LOVE, AND ONE WHO SINCERELY LOVES ALLAH (SWT) WILL NATURALLY BE LOVED BY ALLAH (SWT).
Ü  A man asked the Sixth Imam Jafar ibne Muhammad As-Sidiq as to how he (the man) could know if ALLAH (SWT) is pleased with him or not. The Holy Imam said that it was very easy for if he is pleased with ALLAH (SWT) naturally ALLAH (SWT) also will be pleased with him.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:96) Most surely the time is coming near, when the Merciful will fill the hearts with love of those who have believed and are doing righteous works. *53
*53 This is to comfort the righteous people who were being persecuted and insulted in the streets of Makkah. They are being assured that the time is coming near when the people will honour and love them because of their righteous deeds and good conduct. Hearts will be attracted towards them and the world will hold them in high esteem. And this will happen according to a universal principle. Those who are wicked, proud and haughty and try to rule over the people with falsehood and hypocrisy can never captivate the hearts of the people; on the other hand, those who invite the people to the right way with truth, honesty, sincerity and good conduct succeed in winning their hearts in the end, even though at first they might have to face the indifference and opposition of the dishonest people.

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنْذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُدًّا {19:97}
[Q19:97] Fa innamaa yassarnaahu bilisaanika litubashshira bihil muttaqeena wa tunzira bihee qawmal luddaa.
[Q19:97] So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:97) So, (O Muhammad), We have made this Qur'an easy, and sent it down in your tongue so that you should give good news to the pious and warn the obdurate people.

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا {19:98}
[Q19:98] Wa kam ahlaknaa qabla hum min qarnin hal tuhissu minhum min ahadin aw tasma'u lahum rikzaa
[Q19:98] And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them?
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(19:98) We have destroyed many a people before them: do you find any trace of them or do you hear any whisper from them anywhere?
